Privacy Policy
Flux is an open-source project built by a solo, early-stage founder. This policy explains, in plain language, what little data this website touches, why, and what your options are. If anything here is unclear, email fluxllmdev@gmail.com and it'll get a real, personal reply.
The short version
This website does not use cookies, does not run analytics or tracking scripts, and does not sell or share data with third parties for advertising. The only personal data this site touches is the email address you choose to submit if you join the waitlist, and anything you choose to include if you email us directly.
1. Who we are
Flux (flux-llm.com) is an open-source LLM routing engine, published under the AGPL-3.0 license at github.com/vbc1406/flux. For the purposes of this policy, Flux is operated by its founder and can be reached at fluxllmdev@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
- Waitlist signups. If you join the waitlist, your email address is collected via a Google Form. That submission is subject to Google's own privacy policy in addition to this one. We use it only to notify you about early access and founding-member pricing — nothing else.
- Direct emails. If you email us (including via the "Contact" page, which opens your own email client), we receive whatever you choose to send — for example your name, email address, and message content.
- No cookies, no trackers. This site does not set cookies, run Google Analytics, ad pixels, or any other tracking script. Nothing about your visit is logged by us beyond standard, anonymized hosting/CDN logs kept by our hosting provider (Netlify) and DNS provider (Cloudflare) for security and uptime purposes — we don't access these for marketing.
3. How we use it
- To notify waitlist members when early access or pricing goes live.
- To respond to questions, feedback, bug reports, or partnership/investor inquiries sent by email.
- We do not use your data to train models, and we do not sell, rent, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Third parties involved
- Google Forms — processes waitlist email submissions. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Netlify — hosts this website. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — provides DNS and network security. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- GitHub — hosts the Flux source code and any interactions (stars, issues, PRs) you make there are governed by GitHub's Privacy Statement.
5. Your rights
Regardless of where you're located, you can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what data we hold about you (this will typically just be an email address and/or message content).
- Correct or delete that data.
- Withdraw from the waitlist or unsubscribe from any future communications.
To exercise any of these, email fluxllmdev@gmail.com — requests are handled directly and promptly given the size of the team.
6. Data retention
Waitlist emails are kept until early access launches or you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Direct emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your query, or as required for legitimate business/legal record-keeping.
7. Children's privacy
Flux is a developer tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
As Flux grows — for example, if we add a dashboard, authenticated accounts, or analytics — this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be reflected here; there is currently no separate mailing list for policy updates.
9. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to fluxllmdev@gmail.com at any time.
