Terms of Service

1. What Flux is

Flux is open-source software licensed under AGPL-3.0, available at github.com/vbc1406/flux-router. You self-host it; we do not operate it on your behalf, and these terms don't create a hosted service relationship for the open-source software itself.

2. License

The Flux source code is governed by the AGPL-3.0 license included in the repository, not by these terms. AGPL-3.0 permits use, modification, and redistribution, and requires that if you run a modified version of Flux as a network service, you make the modified source available to users of that service.

Embedding Flux in a closed-source product, offering it as a hosted service without complying with AGPL-3.0's source-availability terms, or otherwise distributing it outside those terms requires a separate commercial license. Contact vandith@flux-llm.com.

3. Using this website

You may browse flux-llm.com, read the documentation, and join the waitlist or contact us. Don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it abusively, or use it to distribute malware or unlawful content.

4. Estimates, not guarantees

Any cost-savings, latency, or quality figures shown on this site or in Flux's documentation are estimates from offline, synthetic benchmarks — not measurements of your production traffic and not a guarantee of results. Routing "quality floors" reflect a configured threshold based on catalog ratings, not a guarantee of objective answer quality. Budget guardrails are based on token and price estimates, not a guarantee against every provider-side billing discrepancy.

5. No warranty

Flux is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by the AGPL-3.0 license and applicable law. We don't warrant that Flux will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, including medical, legal, or other high-stakes use. Flux is not a medical, legal, or safety decision system.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits or excess model-provider spend — arising from your use of Flux or this website. You remain responsible for your own provider billing and for validating Flux's behavior before relying on it in production.

7. Third-party providers

Flux routes requests to model providers you configure (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, Mistral). Your relationship and billing with those providers is governed by their own terms — Flux and this site are not a party to it.

8. Waitlist and early access

Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee access, pricing, or a specific timeline. Managed-tier pricing shown as "early access" is not finalized and may change.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the "last updated" date above will reflect that.
